Jes Abeita is an Indigenous journalist (enrolled Isleta Pueblo, Laguna Pueblo descendant) who started her career in Native media, communications and audience development over two decades ago. She currently serves as Program Manager at the Indigenous Journalists Association, where she supports and advances the work of Native journalists across the country. Her career spans some of the most respected names in Indigenous media, including National Native News, Native America Calling and Underscore Native News, where she drove 150 percent audience growth and significant gains in social reach and organic search.
