Acknowledged for her work in 2022 by the National Native Media Award for best news TV story and awarded gold for breaking news TV story by the Atlantic Journalism Awards. Association in 2021 and 2022. Angel studied journalism at the University of King’s College, International Development Studies at Dalhousie University, and Science at the University of Manitoba. Angel is committed to Indigenous journalism and the tradition of storytelling.
